Ms Pat is a stand-up comedian and author whose comedy often draws upon her own life experiences. Growing up on welfare in an unsafe neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia, she gave birth at 14 and had another at 15. At 15, she became known by her street name, Rabbit, and became a drug dealer.

Ms Pat was raised in an impoverished neighborhood of West Atlanta, where she relied on welfare. At 14, she gave birth and five years later started selling drugs under the street name Rabbit. By 19, she had met and begun raising two of their young children as well as four more from her sister, who was struggling with drugs; Ms. Pat now strives to give all these children a better life.
Ms Pat has appeared on television programs such as Talkin S Hit with Eddie Ifft and Nickelodeon’s Mom’s Night Out, as well as appearing regularly on Bob and Tom’s radio show. Her unique life story has gone viral thanks to appearances on podcasts hosted by Joe Rogan, Eddie Ifft, Marc Maron, Ari Shaffir as well as several production companies reaching out with sitcom ideas for Ms Pat. Her book contract with HarperCollins imprint Dey St and six production companies have offered sitcom ideas has been secured.
Ms Pat was encouraged by her caseworkers to try her hand at comedy when they noticed she was gifted at telling humorous tales. Since making her first comedy appearance at The Pub’s Open Mic Night in 2003, her career has taken off exponentially, being featured in Essence, Variety, Deadline, and Vulture publications alike. Since then, she has signed an overall multi-genre deal with BET/Paramount Global as part of a production banner named after herself that plans on developing scripted and unscripted content through humor and raw honesty that will spark conversations that inspire conversations – the New York Times has described her work as “brutally honest and darkly hilarious.” Additionally, she serves motivational speakers and charities and lives happily in Indianapolis together with her husband and three children!

Pat Williams, known for her autobiographical comedy show Rabbit, has become an author and star of her sitcom inspired by her life growing up with ten relatives in a family home in Atlanta; Lee Daniels and Brian Grazer served as executive producers. Her early memories include visiting her grandfather’s makeshift moonshine bar; Pat would eavesdrop on customer conversations before pickpocketing customers per her mother’s orders.
The show premiered on August 11, 2022, and set records for viewing and engagement on BET+, earning itself an Emmy nomination in Outstanding Directing For A Comedy Series category. Inspired by her personal experiences as an inner city drug dealer turned suburban mom, as written about in Rabbit: The Autobiography of Ms. Pat, Ms. Pat has an overall deal with BET/Paramount Global through which she plans to create scripted and unscripted content both on-screen and behind-the-scenes that inspire conversation through humor and raw honesty.
She has appeared on popular shows and podcasts hosted by Marc Maron, Joe Rogan Experience, and Bert Kreischer, frequently visited Bob and Tom Show, and had her successful podcast, The Patdown.
Ms. Pat remains optimistic despite her past difficulties. She plans on continuing stand-up comedy and hopes one day to host her television show; she is particularly interested in hosting one that allows her to display her skills.
Chris Bowers, co-owner of Ms. Pat’s “home” club, Morty’s Comedy Joint in Indianapolis, noted how Ms. Pat is often able to connect with audiences by telling the truth about their lives – often making people laugh out loud while also being honest about her own. Chris noted how Ms. Pat may shock audiences but is never maudlin or offensive.

As a mother, Ms. Pat has worked tirelessly to provide for her children. She volunteers at Glad Tidings Gospel Church’s food bank regularly and hosts an audio podcast called The Patdown, which has proven immensely popular with listeners.

This recount is an intimate look into her life as a single mother, including childhood events and Derrick’s rise and fall, as well as her relationship with an ex-husband who was involved with drug dealing.
